I’m Leo Hernández, a photographer based in Visalia, California, and for the past eight years I’ve been helping families and individuals hold on to the moments that matter most. What started as a hobby, a camera and a love for catching people at their most natural, grew into the work I get to do every day. I’m drawn to the small things: a nervous laugh before the first photo, a grandmother fixing a collar, a father seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time. Those are the images people keep, and they’re the ones I look for.
Growing up in the Central Valley, I saw how much celebration, family and tradition mean to the people around me. That’s why I’m especially proud to photograph quinceañeras, family events and portrait sessions. They’re not just occasions, they’re chapters people want to remember properly. My style is warm, natural and honest. I care more about real expression than perfect poses, and I edit with a light touch so your photos still look and feel like your life.
Every session starts with a conversation, so I understand what you want and what matters most to you. On the day, I give simple direction and plenty of room to be yourself, even if you don’t consider yourself a “photo person.” Most of my clients don’t, and they still end up with photos they love.
